Butler County Emergency Medical Service is a progressive EMS department dedicated to serving the citizens and visitors of Butler County, Kansas.  Our headquarters are located in El Dorado, Kansas a central base from which the activities of our professional attendants, posted at EMS stations throughout  Butler County, are coordinated.  Each and every member of BCEMS strives each day to provide the highest quality emergency pre-hospital care to our citizens.

Our service motto is "P.R.I.D.E.", which is, Professional, Ready, Innovative, Dedicated, and Excellent.  Our technicians and our department know, understand and operate by these values. BCEMS is divided into Operations, Clinical, Rescue, Logistics, and Tactical Divisions.  Each of these  specialized divisions work together to provide highly quality medical response, care, transport and rescue services to our citizens.  Throughout all that we do, from patient care, to technical rescue, to community and professional education, we are forever seeking to live up to our PRIDE motto.

At Butler County EMS we take our "PRIDE" motto very seriously, and we want to help!  We consider it an honor to assist our fellow Kansas EMS Departments in any way that we can.  We are glad to share our ideas, policies, protocols, or any element of our department with anyone that could benefit from these resources.  We are happy to assist with education, training, policy development, or any aspect of EMS operations that we can.  Please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help however we can!
