On September 25th, 2009 Butler County EMS lost a dear friend and a beloved member of our EMS family and team. Paramedic Bradley Brown, husband, brother, uncle, friend, son, and long time veteran of our department, will be remembered for his gentle ways, kindness, sense of humor, and amazing ability to inspire happiness in all. He, as well as his service to his teammates and the citizens of Butler County, will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Brown family.
Paramedic Bradley Brown was member of Butler County EMS from 1996 to 2009. During that time, Bradley responded to thousands of calls for assistance and consistently provided quality medical care to the citizens and visitors of Butler County. He was five times awarded the department's Lifesaving Medal and remains one of the most decorated recipients of this award in the history of the department. In addition, he was a recipient of the department's Honorable Service Medal, Field Delivery Award, and Unit Citation Medal.
Bradley was a also a dedicated friend and spirited and beloved member of our team. His kind ways, love of friends, and dedication to the EMS profession will be greatly missed. His legacy is one of understanding, humor, kindness, and compassion. His unmatched kindness was perfectly balanced with an overwhelming and infectious sense of humor.
