The professional staff of Butler County EMS are always ready to respond to your needs. We pride ourselves our constant readiness to provide quality response, pre-hospital care, and rescue services to our citizens and visitors--however, we'd rather not be called at all!
Much of what we respond to is the result of preventable accidents and illnesses. Below are several resources we've found to be useful and hope you'll take visit some of these sites and use this information.
BCEMS is always available to provide your family, organization, or workplace with safety and first aid related courses. We are able to provide informational courses on many safety and aid topics and are happy to help in any way that we can.

Butler County is the home of some of Kansas' best water recreation and state parks. El Dorado Lake hosts tens of thousands of guests each year that enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, and diving in one of Kansas' largest state lakes. Unfortunately, though, Butler County EMS and the Butler County Rescue Squad rarely enjoy a summer without water related accidents, injuries, and even deaths. Please take the time to learn all you can about water safety, and stay safe all summer long!
